This course was part of the first year curricula of Chemical Engineering Master of science - Environmental protection technologies branch and is a consequence of the need to forecast the transport and fate of pollutant emissions on atmosphere and surface waters.
In order to keep pollutant concentrations under standard levels, the new facilities, source of pollutants emissions, must be designed properly. Therefore, the equipment of emission/control must fullfil some specifications. The dispersion models provide a valuable tool which allow to estimate the future impact of the facility.
